Passion

I love this quote =) although www.iameallofme.com has been idle for the past month or so, trust that the works of iaME has not.  I had to take a step back and prioritize.  My initial reason for blogging was to let you all in on the developments of iaME and the t-shirt line.  Although I have come to enjoy the outlet of blogging it started to sway my focus a little bit more than anticipated.  Right now my focus is on BUILDING a brand.  I can talk about it all day but if the fruits of my labor aren't attainable then why speak on it.

I appreciate all of the support with iaME and the blog! Believe it or not you all inspire me to move forward, stay focused, remain resilient, and most of all remain passionate about what GOD has called me to do.  I have soooo much passion that I couldn't even foresee all of the hardwork it entails.  But it's that same passion that pushes me to keep it moving.  The hardwork drives me even more so that I've decided to add more to my plate =) I'll tell you more about it a bit later (I promise).

I'm happy to say that the product development phase is complete.  I am in the process of finding sponsors, launching an online store, relocationg (ME, not iaME), living, and loving.

I leave you with this, if what you are doing isn't something that you are TRULY passionate about then why do it?

iaME the blogger shall return

I did iron my clothes, however sitting down in church and eating brunch with my love didn't help.

Loves the DETAILS of this skirt.  Check the corseted back and the bold black buttons along the split of the skirt :)

I've been wearing this Elephant neckpiece all week with any and everything! I'm in LOVE..

Necklace F21

It's a rare occasion that you see me super dressed up and in heels on my blog.  Most often I'm showcasing what I wear everyday.  My job is fast-paced and I dress for comfort.  Enjoy these rare candids.  Remember the real reason for today.  Love you ALL.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

MEag: Combative

My INSPIRATION for today's outfit.  I was cleaning my room yesterday and stumbled across these boots.  These boots hold so many memories.  Some good, some bad.  The MADE greeks of the National Pan-Hellenic Council know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.  I received these boots as a gift once I was chosen to join The Illustrious and Ultimate Sorority that which is Delta Sigma Theta.

Who knew such boots that hold so much history would now be a fashion staple.  Combat boots have officially MADE a comeback.  The wear and tear of mine adds a little character.

Plaid Top (I got a little scissor happy and cut the sleeves off), Blue Heathered Cropped Top F21, Destroyed Black Jeans F21

The BEST pics are the ones caught off guard :)

Accessorized with a Black Elephant neck-piece (trunks up), Black & Silver Grommet Belt both F21, and Bangles thrifted.

StyleTip: Take a look in your closet.  We all have them, you know those old items that we refuse to give up?  I challenge you to revamp them and work them into your wardrobe this week.  The items that we hold near and dear to our hearts have the most value.  If it's in your closet rather old or new, USE IT, WEAR IT, LOVE IT.  The old paired with the new is the perfect balance.

pEEp This: VileThreads

You know I live for great Vintage finds!  My friends over at VileThreads asked me to model some merchandise for their Etsy shop and brought over these two lovely pieces!  Needless to say the pics didn't happen because I had to have them for MYSELF.  Sorry Guys :)

Teal Leather Cropped Jacket, 3-button front with Blazer Lapels.  I fell in love with the color first and silhouette second. Chiffon Leopard Print shirt is mine, nice contrast though.

This dress fits me like a glove.  Fits like it was made especially for ME.  Seems like a Polyester/Spandex Blend.

Loves the Pops of Color.

Check out VileThreads at http://www.etsy.com/shop/vilethreads

Some of my faves that are currently IN!..hurry before they SELL! One of a kind, hand-picked vintage pieces.

Color-Block Dolman Sweater $15.00

MEag: Cropped Out

I wore this outfit Sunday and had a much needed session with some friends!

Cropped Top thrifted, Fair Isle Vest American Eagle, Hi-Waisted Wide leg Jeans H&M, Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars

I copped this vest on an impromptu run to A&E.  I spotted it hiding on a rack, tried it on, and fell in love.  Even more incentive to buy was that it was on sale for $8.99 (regularly priced $89.50 to be exact).  I'm no math genius but that's like a 90% discount.  I live for deals like these!

What was once old is now new again! Loving the cropped tops I am seeing everywhere and grabbed this one at The Salvation Army a few months back.

Pants are a little wrinkled! oh well..I'm human :)

Chucks are CLASSIC

I haven't done a style tip in a while so...StyleTip:  Cropped tee's and shirts are all over the runway and in magazines.  Either you love them or hate them.  I LOVE them.  Especially paired with my obsession of hi-waisted bottoms.  When choosing a cropped top keep in mind your proportions and the fit of the shirt.  The ones I am seeing are boxy and oversized.  Purchase a size smaller to avoid loosing your shape in the garment.  If you have the ab game don't be afraid to show a little tummy.  If not you can try layering it over a tank dress or with some boyfriend jeans.

PeopleWatch: All Black Everything

I came across this young lady at an event I attended last week.  Outside of being absolutely gorgeous, her style is effortless.  In a black boyfriend blazer, black skinny jeans, and black knee-high riding boots I'm loving it!

LOVES THE BOOTS!

PeopleWatch: Rugby Stripes Made Chic

A few weeks ago I introduced a new section to iaME called People Watch.  Often times I am out and about and see things and people who inspire me.  Here's a chance to see the world through my lenses.

I was at the nail shop and in walked this young lady who brought chicness and sophistication to rugby stripes...

Rugby Tunic layered over what seems to be sequined tank dress.

Black Tights and T-strap Mary Janes topped it off.

She belted it to accent her figure and accessorized with a modest bracelet.

CUTE!
